(taken from an interview in Unholy Terror # 4) "Yeah, the infamous Unholy Terror question! Well, actually it's not a so easy question to answer, since we're dealing with some abstract stuff here, like feelings, essence etc., and not only with the musical side, so it's much more about to FEEL Death Metal than to explain what it is. Anyway, musically wise, Death Metal is the most complete form of music ever created, since it has all elements that a truly serious and powerful music style needs. True Death Metal music means, before anything, heaviness, memorable riffs (just remember that riff in "The Exorcist" and you'll know what I mean), expressive vocals coming from the very dephts of the soul (and not only monotonous grunts) and the speed in an INTELLIGENT way! If a band has all these elements - without forgetting, of course, the lyrics, which have to deal with death, morbid and unholy thoughts and the whole dark side of life in general, stuff which I truly believe all true deathmetalheads are attracted by -, so it's a true Death Metal band for me! Death Metal is the true essence of the extreme Underground Art's concept! At last, it's MY LIFE for about 23 years now!!! UNTIL MY LAST BREATH, I WILL HAIL THE METAL OF DEATH!!!!!!!!! (I always think that I can't find enough words to explain what true DM menas for me, but that's it for the moment... hehehehe!!!)". Death Metal is a musical and ideological Cult!!!

De qualquer maneira, musicalmente falando, Death Metal é a mais completa forma de música jamais criada, uma vez que possui todos os elementos que um estilo musical realmente sério e poderoso necessita. A verdadeira música Death Metal , antes de qualquer coisa, peso, riffs memoráveis (basta lembrar aquele riff de "The Exorcist" e você saberá o que quero dizer), vocais expressivos vindos das profundezas da alma (e não apenas grunhidos monótos) e velocidade de uma forma inteligente! Se em uma banda possui todos estes elementos - sem esquecer, obviamente, as letras, que têm de lidar com a morte, pensamentos mórbidos e profanos e todo o lado obscuro da vida em geral, coisas pelas quais eu realmente acredito que todos os verdadeiros deathmetalheads são atraídos -, então é uma verdadeira banda de Death Metal para mim! Death Metal é a verdadeira essência do conceito Arte Extrema Underground! Enfim, MINHA VIDA por cerca de 23 anos agora! ATÉ O MEU ÚLTIMO SUSPIRO, EU SAUDAREI O METAL DA MORTE!!!!!!!!!
